Kindergarten Happenings!

We had another great week!  The children are really doing a terrific job with the routines and handling the changes that we have to make this year.  They seem to enjoy working at their desks and we try to move to the rug at times throughout the day for a change. We still keep space between one another.  Here are some pictures from our week! We earned many marbles and a celebration will be happening soon!  Wow, way to go kindergarten!
Pattern block designs
Playground fun!  They love the big playground.

Self portrait books - We will draw a self portrait each month and have a book of portraits at the end of the year.  It will be fun to see how our drawings change throughout the year!

Push pin art!  They love it and it is great for pinching and strengthening our finger muscles!

Time for the little playground!

Counting the room - Cards are hung up around the room. The children walk around find the cards. Then they count the item and record it on the sheet.  They did a great job for the first time!

Free choice time- puzzles, pattern blocks & toys

Danny is relaxing with a book!
The big playground for Cohort B!

Hop scotch - great jumping Xavier

Way to go Hadley!  I loved that you shared your at home work with me!  Looks like you have a wonderful work station set up and that you had a lot of fun playing the racing bears game!  Keep up the terrific work!!  I see "Flat Mrs. Walton" too! I love it!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  It is supposed to be a beautiful one so enjoy!!
