Today the kids had a wonderful day! We celebrated their hard work by wearing our pj's, watching a little video and dancing. Hope you enjoy these photos.
Have a fabulous weekend!

We like to move it, move it!

Some time to relax as we watch a short Alvin and the Chipmunks video.

Way to go kindergarten!  Let's keep up the good work and earn some marbles to fill that jar again!!!

Special Events Last Week

We had a wonderful week full of many surprises and special people!

On Community Reading Day we enjoyed a book read by Mrs. Concannon. She told us a little bit about herself and her job with horses.  Then we listened to a great Dr. Seuss book!
That evening many took part in Family Literacy Night and enjoyed reading books by Dr. Seuss, Jan Brett, Kevin Henkes and Patricia Polacco.  We had a wonderful turn out and a few kindergarteners won a prize!
We also had a fabulous All School Meeting with a special visit from "Mega Man", otherwise known as Mr. Belanger!  We all can be as awesome as a Super Hero!

Hope you all had a terrific weekend!

Dr. Seuss Day!

Today we honored Dr.Seuss on his birthday by making hats, ties and participating in some fun activities!

Above the children a practicing their sight words with green eggs!  Some are playing a game using fly swatters  and some are playing sight word go fish.

A favorite activity for many. The children made and explored "Oobleck"!  This was inspired by the book Bartholemew and the Oobleck written by Dr. Seuss!
