Another busy week in kindergarten! Here are some pictures from the last two days.
Sharing the marker.  As we were getting ready to write in our journals we did an example on the easel.  The children came up to help us write the words/sounds that they heard.
We also learned a new song about the three things needed when writing a sentence. We will sing it often and hopefully your child will share it with you soon.

We have been taking child a few at a time to practice the correct formation of letters in their name.  We practice on laminated lined paper.  The children enjoy using the dry erase markers and erasers.
Number songs & movement!  The kids love this video!
We began Handwriting without Tears (HWT) and started learning the frog jump letters.  We practiced the capital letters E & F.  On Friday we will finish with D & P.  We also put up a few sight words!
 Go Noodle in action.
Another picture of our Star Student!  Nice job sharing!

We introduced iPads in class.  The children practiced the frog jump letters we learned on a HWT ap.  They really loved using the iPads.

Have a wonderful weekend!
