Today we continued our Dr. Seuss activities. After library we played some games.

We had a couple games serving up some green eggs and ham. One person read a sight word and the other two used a fly swatter to serve it up!  Some children worked with the 20 words we have learned and others were challenged using all 40 sight words. They did great and loved the activity!

We had two other games working on rhyming and letter/sound identification. The children had a lot of fun reinforcing these skills using games. We also worked on turn taking, being a good sport and waiting our turns. These are important social skills to have.

Finally, some of the children wanted to make galaxy slime!  It certainly was gooey but they loved mixing the ingredients together and playing with it!

Have a wonderful weekend!
