The 100th Day!!

Hip, hip hooray! Today was the 100th day!  We had a fantastic day celebrating the 100th day.  The children completed many activities throughout the day.   We began the day writing about what we would do if we were given $100.  I will put this together for a class book.  The children did a great job writing and illustrating their pages.  We continued our day counting to 100 in different ways, doing 100 exercises, making 100 day hats, glasses and monkey masks for Chinese New Year.  Here are some pictures for our fabulous day!
Look at these awesome 100 day projects the children did at home and shared with their classmates.

Here is part of our fancy hats.  10 strips with 10 dots on each to make 100 dots!

Cutting monkey parts to add to our painted paper plates.

Decorating 100th day glasses.

100 dots!  Using Q-tips the students are putting 10 dots in 10 different boxes to make 100.  We practiced counting by 1's and 10's.

Strengthening our fine motor skills by coloring and cutting out the front of our hats.

Great job on your glasses Elina!
Here is a picture of everyone with their hats and glasses!

The year of the Monkey!  Happy New Year!

Hope you enjoyed our pictures because we had a fabulous day!
