Kindergarten Happenings!

I wanted to share the National Symbols wall in the hallway!  Everyone loves walking by and seeing the amazing work the kindergarten students have done.  They worked so hard and did a wonderful job!  Here are some pictures that captured the students hard work!

This past week we wrote about our favorite thing about the month of March. The students had a lot of different ideas and did a great job illustrating and writing their thoughts.

Working on puzzles and pattern blocks
We are excited to introduce Maria Fernanda. She joined us on Thursday and will be a new addition to our class this year.  The children were very welcoming to her and she had a great first day!!
Maria working on the alphabet arc.
Agatha is working on a rhyming activity.
Here is the WHITE egg from our experiment!  The children were shocked to see that the coke turned the egg brown.  We talked about sugar and how bad it is for your teeth.  We also talked about having sugar but making sure to brush your teeth really well afterwards.  Hopefully it will convince them to brush their teeth.

A special egg project!  The children loved the magic that happened with the crayon and water colors.

Hoppy Easter to everyone!!  We have some bunnies that wanted to say hello!

A little choice time with some animal friends!
Working with geoboards to make designs and shapes.
We hope you had a wonderful weekend!  We are excited to start the week with all the students together!
