Kindergarten Happenings!

We finally got outside this week!
Jackson was a little nervous on the beam for the first time so he was given a hand!  Way to go!!

Strengthening our finger muscles using beans to spell our names!  This is a great way to strengthen our fingers so we can color, draw, write and build.

Creating a get to know you book!  We will be sending this book home soon so you can meet the children in the class and some staff members.  I put a photograph of each person on the page and the children drew a picture of themselves as well.

Mrs. Langelier visits to help teach us about sounds using Lively Letters.  I will provide you with information on this program during Open House.
Some new areas to explore were introduced.
Playing with playdough
 Writing and arts & crafts
Housekeeping ~ Look at these two!
Future police & firefighters maybe?
 Enjoying the dolls & accessories

A favorite activity making bracelets & necklaces with beads.
Careful concentration when we are cutting. Working on an activity that will be displayed in the hall next week!

Movement - singing and dancing as we learn our numbers!
Science observation & recording of our Summer Tree

A few days later and Jackson said this is his favorite piece of equipment!
Proud to be doing it all alone now!
A little extra recess to end our day!

We had a good week and seem to be settling down with some of our routines.  We have a few to work on but definitely making progress each day!  Have a wonderful weekend!
