What a fabulous last week of school we had! We celebrated many summer birthdays this week.  The children were very excited about the last week of school but we did stay very busy practicing and reviewing some important skills.  They each wrote a letter to their first grade teacher.  We practice math concepts in our math journals, writing cvc words, rhyming, creating compound words, solving math problems and much more!  We watched the video to look back and remind ourselves of all the things we have learned and how much we have grown throughout the year!  We hope you enjoy the video as much as the children did. We also spent the afternoon with our third grade buddies listening to them read stories, poems and projects they had created.  Afterwards we went outside and played some games.  A favorite was "Fishy fishy cross the ocean!" Finally we celebrated our hard work enjoying popsicles with the third graders and again with our kindergarten friends on Friday morning!  Everyone was super excited to meet their new teacher.  I was very said to walk them down the hall but was reassured when they all came back with big smiles and excitement on their faces!  I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!  Thanks again for a terrific year!

Happy Early Birthday to these awesome children!
We were very happy to sing and celebrate a little early.  We hope they have a fantastice real birthday when the big day arrives!

Here's to a fabulous year!
Have a safe and very happy summer filled with laughter, good times and lots of love!
