The children were so excited about their first official field trip. Although Mother Nature didn't completely cooperate with us, we still had a blast and the children did an awesome job representing BMS! We are so proud of them! Here are some pictures of our trip. (Probably a few too many, but I am sure some of you are photo fans like me!)
Getting introduced to the farm rules and getting ready for our tour.
We are off!
Feeding some animals!
Feeding Annie & her super long tongue!
Hay Ride
Play Houses
Lunch Time
Last few minutes before we leave! We were excited to hold some animals.
We had an AMAZING time! Thank you to all the chaperones that held
up during the wet and chilly weather!
Our special day continued with a "Mystery Reader". Ms. Cunningham was able to pretend to leave and come back for a surprise visit to read to the class. The children were very tired and enjoyed 2 stories! They were great listeners. Thank you Ms. Cunningham for taking the extra time out of your day to read to us!
Grant decided to be a little shy for his picture! He was thrilled to see his mom!
On Tuesday we shared our favorite parts about the field trip. The children wrote and illustrated about it. These will go in their binders at the end of the year!
Practicing our "Three Little Piggy Opera"
FIDGET SPINNERS ~ oh the excitement!! The children just love their spinners. Today they spent a little choice time sharing their spinners and playing with them. It amazes me how much time they can spend spinning. LOL
The bonus was they took turns and shared with one another so we were
working on some positive social skills!
Have a great week!!
