Memorial Day Concert
The kindergarten did a wonderful job singing "God Bless America" on Tuesday.
Finishing up our planting unit by showing what we learned about plant parts. Students had a chance to decide how to show their work. They had a choice of using pattern blocks, drawing, painting or using one of the two pages with plant parts on them. Everyone did a wonderful job!

Student Council talks to us about their fundraiser for the Food Pantry. If they collect 400 healthy snack or breakfast donations the 5th graders will play a game of kickball against the teachers!

Lily is the STAR of the WEEK!! Lily shared with us some special items last
week and finished sharing a baby book, her family page and the all about
me information sheets. Great job sharing Lily!!

Mr Flournoy helped facilitate this and provided extensions & higher level thinking questions.

We got together with Mrs. Bennett's Class and painted some props for our little play.

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Next week I will be at school but conducting kindergarten screening on Monday & Tuesday. Miss Hutchinson will be in class. The kids will also enjoy a puppet show on Wednesday when the incoming kindergarten visit.
