A big Happy Birthday to Lily! She celebrated her sixth birthday this past weekend.  We know she enjoyed a day celebrating and skating around.  We are glad she had a special day!!

 Here we are using our season tree puppets during season poems.  The children also had to decide what tree to be when I gave out weather clues and things we might use during the different seasons.  

 Missing numbers ~ finding the missing number and clipping it on the paw print.  We practiced numbers 0-10, 0-20 and some challenged themselves with numbers to 50!  They all worked hard and did a terrific job! 

 We had teepee's to put together by matching letters and beginning sounds of a picture. Some even challenged themselves to put it in ABC order.  We have a very hard working group here!   

 This week we wrote in our journals about our four day weekend.  It is amazing how much these children want to try to write already!  We help them along by sounding out words but most of them want to write on their own.   

 Way to go Caelan!  You brought it to the next level during choice time. Caelan decided to make his sight words out of pattern blocks.  What a great idea!
