Another busy week in kindergarten. We have been learning about living things and the life cycle of plants. We have watched some videos, read a story about a Grand Old Tree, had discussions and began planting activities. We also had 2 Star Students this week and practiced a fire drill with the whole school. We did a terrific job and were models for some of our older friends. In math we continued to practice addition activities, teen numbers and decomposing numbers. The students are doing a terrific job and working real hard! Keep up the awesome work! Avery did a terrific job sharing her "All About Me" pages and her family pictures. The students did a great job listening and asking questions!
Xavier is coloring a flower for one of our planting activities.
Work Boards ~ Emily is sorting syllables & Sophina is working on a math counting & graphing activity.
Hannah is challenging herself to write sentences using spacing, capital at the beginning and punctuation.
Anthony is sorting pictures by beginning sound.
Harmony is working on our planting activity book.

Working on rhyming pairs
A little April writing! Students wrote about their favorite thing about April. Many ideas came from vacation week! They are doing a super job writing and illustrating!
We had a great week! Next week we will continue learning about plants and doing planting activities.
