It was a short week but we were very busy working and learning. We practiced sight words, finished up learning how to write capital letters, completed a few assessments and continued practicing addition. Here are some pictures from our week.
Anthony is working on writing numbers to 20.
Xavier, Agatha & Ari are practicing the letters A & J which were the last few capital letters we had to learn. We will review all uppercase letters this week and then move onto lowercase letters.
Emily is working on sorting syllables.
Scarlett & Avery are working on unscrambling sentences so they make sense.
Agatha is working on sorting syllables.
Emily, Anna & Hannah are working on writing CCVC words. They did an amazing job hearing all the sounds.
Avery & Scarlett are working on writing CVC words! They did a terrific job hearing all the sounds.
Anthony is working on journal writing. He is using a step draw to help him draw a dog. He did a great job!
Harmony is sorting syllables.

Hadley is working on sorting vowel sounds.
As you can see we had a wonderful week. We worked hard, had fun and enjoyed time with all our friends! Next week we will continue working on addition, reviewing capital letters, learning about groundhogs and more! I will continue completing benchmark reading assessments this week and we will also do a writing prompt with the students. We hope to have another great week!
