Mason is the Star of the Week!  He did a great job sharing his posters and family page. He loved sharing the joker mobile and got s kick out of it driving around the classroom. Great job Mason! 

Jayden is enjoying s quiet book in a comfy chair!  We are impressed with the wonderful reading progress everyone is making. We are also excited to have Mrs. Williamson join us so the children can read to her. They are excited to read and we are happy to have an extra ear to listen!  Thanks Mrs. Williamson!  

Hailey is completing an addition activity that involved walking around the room, looking at the cards and completing number sentences. The kids loved this activity. 

We had some fun on Monday playing a variety of math games. Here we are playing Compare. 

Here is a group that loved learning how to play Sorry!  This is a family favorite at my house. They did a great job!  

We are having a great week. Looking forward to the next two days!  

A short week!  Mrs. Schwehr came into visit and did a STEM lesson with us. The children had a wonderful time being engineers and building houses. First she read a story, then each child drew up some plans.  After their plan was drawn out they had a choice of different materials and built a structure. The big bad wolf, otherwise known as a hair dryer, came to see if their structure was sturdy. They also had a chance to act out the story with little pig cut outs. Thanks for a fun morning!

Tuesday journal writing.  The children are doing a great job writing sentences and illustrating their work!  We are so proud of them.   

Chloe working on her weather booklet.  The children are discussing different types of weather in Enrichment.  They are beginning to make a weather booklet and will be completing many exciting experiments.

smiling and giggling in the listening area!  It was really adorable!

We had a super week!

The children were excited to earn their marble party! We celebrated on Wednesday, by wearing our pajamas, bringing a furry friend and enjoying the beautiful weather outside playing with friends!  We completed many activities such as journals, learning about animals, working on subtraction and reading stories.  Here are some pictures from our week!

Jayden was our "Star Student" this week!  She did a fabulous job sharing her poster and family page. She brought in "Snowflake" her unicorn friend to share as well.  Great job Jayden!

 Daily Five was back in action!  The children did a great job at "Work on Writing".  They are writing about if they had one wish, what would it be?  These four did an amazing job! 

Zackery is working on "Read to Self".

 Hailey & Aiden are "Working on Writing". 

 Elina & Damien are at "Word Work".  They are stamping beginning, ending & middle vowel sounds. 

 Joseph & Jayden are working on "Read to Someone".  They are practicing strategies like "Check for Understanding & Cross Checking".  

We had a FABULOUS week!  The children are doing very well and learning a lot!  Mrs. Gaucher and I are very PROUD of them & their hard work!  Have a wonderful weekend!  

African Art Assembly

We had an amazing time at the African Arts Program today!  A huge thank you goes out to LINK for organizing and sponsoring the show!
