Exciting Day!

Today we had the opportunity to share the books we made in Enrichment with our friends in first grade. The children enjoyed reading their picture books to their friends!  They did a fantastic job!

We had a great week and ended it playing with some friends!  The children had the opportunity to spend choice time together today.  It was fun having them & everyone did a great job!

Special visitor !

Today we had a special visit from Mrs. Schwehr. She read an ocean story and we talked about habitats. We also had a chance to make our own ocean habitat!  The kids had a great time!  Thank you for helping us learn some cool science things!  

What a great day!!

Thank you for coming tonight!  It was so nice to meet some new faces and familiar ones too!  If you were unable to make it tonight I will send home all the handouts and a paper to leave a note for your child. I will share the notes with your child next week so everyone has the opportunity to send a note in. I look forward to spending the next nine months with your child exploring new things, learning a lot and having fun while we do it!  

Past few days!

Hello Everyone,  I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We have been very busy the last few days.  This week we learned the letter "Mm".  We have been practicing writing both the upper/lower case letter and finding pictures of things beginning with /m/.  This is a tricky letter to write so we will continue to practice at school.  Please help your child at home too.  We are becoming very familiar with our morning routines and many of the children are doing these jobs without reminders.  I look forward to seeing you tomorrow night at Open House.  Here are some more photos to enjoy of the children engaged in a variety of activities.
