We have enjoyed observing, recording and experiencing the life cycle of a butterfly. Today we returned from the long weekend to find out that the butterflies hatched from their chrysalis. We recorded the changes that occurred throughout the weeks. Today we gathered outside and said our goodbyes to the butterflies. The kids were both excited and a little sad to see them go. Here are a few photos from the event.

Memorial Day Program
The children did a great job singing "God Bless America". It always seems to bring a tear to my eye listening to the little ones sing this patriotic song. Here are a couple pictures incase you were unable to make it.

Digging for Dinosaurs
Today the children had the opportunity to learn about fossils and dinosaurs through a science program sponsored by LINK. The Boston Museum of Science came into school and provided the children with a hands on opportunity to explore fossils. The children were able to touch and look at fossils. They also had the opportunity to move like a dinosaur as well. Below you will find some pictures from this fabulous event!
